2009 Status: All plots possibly filled. We will begin a waiting list, though.
There has been a CGC-sponsored community garden here for more than 10 years. Ninth St. Garden had about 18 gardeners in 2008, divided among about 16 plots. Last year, the front bed on the sidewalk was a kind of a community hodge-podge of sunflowers, herbs, donated annual flowers and even some corn and beans.
Gardener Doug Burns was a constant presence for many years at this garden and he will be greatly missed.
